The Power of Psychedelic Science
The psychedelic renaissance has been gaining momentum in recent years, and the MAPS Psychedelic Science Conference 2023 was a true testament to the growing interest in this transformative field. Hosted in Denver, Colorado, from June 19th to 23rd, the conference saw an incredible influx of passionate individuals seeking to understand the potential of psychedelic medicine better. With over 300 speakers and a diverse range of topics, the event was an immersive journey into the future of consciousness exploration.
Connecting Minds at The District House
Inspired by the knowledge and experiences shared at the Psychedelic Science Conference, District216 decided to introduce a new event format that fostered conscious connections and meaningful conversations. As a result, "Conscious Connections" was born—a unique gathering designed to bring together members and guests alike to discuss the insights and discoveries from the conference. Each month we plan to host a different topic to spark discussion and debate.
The core essence of this event format lies in its networking and roundtable conversation style. The open format encourages an atmosphere of inclusivity and mutual respect, where all voices are valued, and perspectives are celebrated.

Unveiling the Speakers and Moderator

Peter Vitale: A prominent attorney and figure in the psychedelic community, known most recently for his work with the Shulgin Foundation.
Valerie Beltrán, LMFT: A psychotherapist, specializing in trauma therapy (EMDR), couples therapy, and child therapy with a passion for the therapeutic potential of psychedelics.
Dr. Elizabeth Wolfson, PhD, LCSW: A dedicated researcher and licensed psychotherapist specializing in psychedelic-assisted therapy.
