SPEAKER BIO

Speaker: Jacob Tell, District216 Chief Dreamer

Jacob Tell's journey from being a D.A.R.E. kid to the visionary behind District216, a psychedelic social club, is a testament to the transformative power of psychedelics and communal connection. His epiphany led him to embrace the Jungian concept of ego dissolution, recognizing the profound potential for personal and societal transformation inherent in psychedelic experiences.

District216, Jacob's brainchild, is more than just a social club; it's a hub for community, information, and advocacy, aiming to normalize and legalize psychedelic use in daily life. Through weekly District House Events and quarterly Marquee events, Jacob facilitates scholarly yet joyous discussions, challenging societal norms and advocating for cognitive liberty.

The roots of Jacob's advocacy trace back to his college days at UCSB, where he discovered cannabis and psychedelics, experiencing a spiritual awakening at a Phish concert. This pivotal moment shaped his philosophy of embracing the possibilities of "YES...AND" in both business and life.

Despite challenges, such as the disruption caused by the pandemic, Jacob's resilience and creativity have fueled the success of Oniracom and the birth of District216. And LoDo Studios, once a dormant building, now serves as a vibrant space for creativity and community engagement.

As District216 continues to evolve, Jacob remains committed to its mission of enlightenment and empowerment through psychedelic experiences. For Jacob, psychedelics are not just substances; they are sacraments and tools that demand respect and reverence. Through District216, he invites others to join him on a journey of self-discovery and societal transformation.
