SPEAKER BIO

Elizabeth Wolfson, PHD, LCSW

Elizabeth Wolfson, PhD, LCSW is a seasoned psychotherapist in private practice while also training psychotherapists and serving in leadership positions within corporations, human service organizations and in academia. She is currently also a consultant for Skylight Psychedelics and a Mentor with California Institute of Integral Studies Certificate in Psychedelic Therapy and Research program. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Clinical Services for Field Trip Health and Wellness, an international Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy company. From 2010-2020 she served as faculty and Chair of Antioch University Santa Barbara’s Clinical Psychology Program where she developed and directed programs in Healthy Aging and Somatic Psychotherapy and designed a Women & Leadership Program. In 2019 she served as Organizational Consultant to Pacifica Graduate Institute. Prior to Antioch, she taught at Columbia University School of Social Work and was Clinical Director of family service agencies. She has developed award-winning projects aimed at combating racism and empowering marginalized populations and was project associate on two documentary films that screened in Europe and at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. She served as an editor of Psychotherapy for allthingshealing.com from 2010-2012. In 2021 she completed her Certification in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and Research at California Institute of Integral Studies, MDMA Therapy Training through the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) and is Certified with the Ketamine Training Center in the practice of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy. Additionally, she holds a Certificate in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy.

Dr. Wolfson has published and presented on Psychedelic- Supportive Psychotherapy, Ketamine-Assisted Therapy, creativity, intimate relationship, psychotherapeutic processes, trauma, gender, creativity, empowerment, and healthy aging. Dr. Wolfson was a co-founder of two non-profit organizations and served as Vice President of Professional Development on the Board of the NASW, Santa Barbara Chapter and as VP of Special Projects for the Board of Directors of Santa Barbara California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

Dr. Wolfson's private practice in Santa Barbara, California focuses on personal, interpersonal, and professional well-being, life transitions, empowerment, and creativity through an integrative practice of psychotherapy, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy and Psychedelic-Supportive Psychotherapy (a model she developed and published in a peer-reviewed journal). She also offers coaching, organizational consultation, and integration services and facilitates workshops and retreats supporting personal and professional growth, creativity, and self-actualization.
